November on results:
3 spots for agencies
We choose one of your clients together. For 6 months, you only pay in the months we hit the target we agree on. If we miss it, there’s no invoice that month. Any other clients you bring me are on my usual rates, with 15% off.
3 spots remaining. Sign by November 30
Why I’m doing this
Since September, I’ve spoken with more than 30 agencies. The question I hear most is how much it costs. That makes sense: you bill the client, pay me, and if the campaign doesn’t work, you’re the one who has to answer for it. This way, we share the risk.
How the results-based client works
- Each month, we check one number. If it meets the target, that month is payable. If it doesn’t, there’s no invoice.
- You suggest two or three clients, and I choose the one with the strongest chance of meeting the target, so neither of us is taking a blind bet.
Months that meet the target are billed at my usual fee plus 30%, because if I miss it, I don’t get paid.
Results-based terms last 6 months. From month seven, that client moves to my usual fee with the same 15% discount as the other accounts.
Before starting, we agree three things in writing
| The metric | Meta form leads |
|---|---|
| The monthly target | At least 40 leads at a cost per lead of €15 or less |
| Where it’s measured | Meta Ads Manager |
This is an example. What matters is that anyone can check on the last day of the month whether the target was met. The account is still learning in month one, so its target may be lower than in later months.
Your other clients
All other accounts you bring me are on my usual rates with 15% off. The discount only applies if we sign the results-based client.
Terms
- One performance-based client per agency, on one channel: Meta or Google.
- Your agency suggests two or three clients, and I choose which account to take on under results-based terms.
- Results-based terms last 6 months. Months that meet the target are billed at my usual fee plus 30%. From month seven, the client moves to my usual fee with 15% off.
- Only for agencies that aren’t already working with me.
- Sign between November 2 and 30, 2026. Accounts can start later, but no later than December 15.
- The client always pays the media spend, whether or not the target is met, with an agreed monthly minimum.
- A month does not count as a missed target if the client pauses campaigns, cuts the budget, changes the website or offer without telling me, or delays access. That month is payable.
- We review the arrangement after 3 months. If the target is missed for three consecutive months, we adjust it or either party can end the arrangement.
All of this goes into a one-page annex to the contract.
What the client needs
We check this on a 20-minute call.
- Ad spend is always paid by the client, whether or not the target is hit, with a monthly minimum we agree for each client.
- Has a website and an offer that already sells through other channels.
- Success can be measured each month: leads, online sales or bookings.
- For lead generation, responds to leads in under 24 hours.
Clients whose results only become visible in sales closed months later aren’t a fit.
For ecommerce clients, November and December targets will account for rising costs around Black Friday (November 27).
